The third Eero is also on second floor and diagonally to the second eero (roughly 25ft apart) and this one is tucked between my monitor and computer but nothing on top. Second Eero is on second floor in the room right above the Gateway Eero sitting diagonally to the it and again in open space on top of a desk. Gateway Eero on 1st floor on a open space on top of the media station (not inside but on top next to the sound bar) Albeit my plan wasn’t for 300 mbps before (it was 25 mbps) but I consistently saw the same speed across all three eeros.īut I did check all those things in the article and they all check out.
I have had this configuration since before I got the fiber connection and I never saw this big of drop offs after every hop.
